In part one of the series, a Lolita is followed in a documentary sort of style. You see how she gets dressed, buys new clothes and stalks the mailman for her package to arrive. After she has finally received it, she rolls around on her bed in her brand. I fell in love with this part and the picture of the Lolita in question that came along with it. I immediately knew it: I wanted to take pictures like this too! So I asked my mom and she was totally up for it, which resulted into a Thursday afternoon of taking pictures. ^^
My idea was to put two mattresses on the floor, put down all of my pastel dresses (so not the black ones) and just lie on top of them in various poses. Our house is perfectly built to take pictures from above, so this came in quite in handy. I didn’t want the pictures to come out exactly the same way as the picture from Deerstalkerpictures (since it would be 1) impossible and 2) not as much fun, so I give it my own twist. We took many, many pictures and I chose my favourites for my blog. I really hope you like them. ♥

Somehow these pictures remind me a bit of Snow White, I don’t really know why… ^^

I think the 4th from the bottom is really cute :D The pose is quite dynamic, but still flattering, IMO.

DeleteYour pictures came out so beautifully! Lolita dresses make such a wonderful backdrop for they're full with bright colors and frilly details. You look as if you are enchanted (like snow white or sleeping beauty) and laid to rest on a bed of leaves that as soon as they fall off the tree they transform into elegant dresses for you to wear when your prince comes to wake you up (I think I just got a cool story idea XD). My favorite pictures are the ones at the top and the 4th from the bottom. I would love to have this many dresses to take these kind of pictures with. Thanks so much for the eye candy (and the unintentional story inspiration)! These pictures are beautiful and you are beautiful too!

DeleteThis looks too cute!! I'd love to do this too, but sadly I think I do not own enough dresses for that! (7, but 2 of them are black/bittersweet so that would give a weird contrast I think ;_;)
